Мама дочки-младенца

I had my baby on the 17th July. I was the same as you, however don't worry it will come as soon as you deliver the baby. my baby had trouble latching on for the first feed. She was fed through a syringe. After that the midwives showed me how to breastfeed (not easy). I have been breast feeding for 3 weeks today and my daughter has put on weight. This is the main thing. I have met so many different women in hospital and breastfeeding classes that wanted to breastfeed so bad but had trouble.

if your baby is a good latcher & your baby is able to open mouth wide enough to fit nipple and most of your areola in to trigger the sucking motion to be able to feed in correct way you'll be fine. if baby only latches onto the nipple chances are your breastfeeding days are over and you'll soon have cracked nipples which I hear is very painful.

I wish you all the best I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. I would rest as much as you can because when baby arrives you'll be feeding every 2 to 4 hrs & you'll be exhausted.

take care

Мама дочки (1 год)

My milk took well over a week to come in, and then we bf'ed for nearly two years after the rough start! You'll be fine, the midwives and lactation consultants are really helpful.
