me :" I wish our baby would come out with colored eyes, wouldn't that be nice "
husband "*long pause* ...😐browns a color..
haha I don't know why I try to make conversation with him. 😂
@jessicuhm, Lol yes and we all look more like him than our moms. But from my knowledge in school, I've learned that brown is the more dominant color in the gene pool and depending on who has the stronger gene is more likely to pass that gene on to the baby
@mommy3, I'm sorry to hear that, but yeah he has a lot of legacy he left behind so that's always good. but I still hope deep down my son magically comes out with green eyes. or at least his daddy's eyes lol.
@jessicuhm, Plus my dad already have 21 grand children and never got a chance to meet any of them
@jessicuhm, Lol yes as long as they can see the color isn't that important. But I lost my dad to colon cancer 3 years ago and yes he left behind a lot of kids
haha @mommy3 that a lot of kids to miss lol. at least someone got it though. hey as long as my kids can see then I guess brown isn't so bad lol
@jessicuhm, Well my dad had green eyes which skipped all 22+ of his kids so luckily a few of his grands got the gene from him
@wildflower16, @ngujen @mommy3 haha got to love them! lol and my grandparents had blue and green eyes and me and my siblings were born with grey eyes and they turned brown :| and my husband has light brown eyes. I'm just hoping they're light like his lol.
@ngujen, hubs has pretty green, blue, gray eyes and that runs in his family and brown eyes run in my immediate family BUT on my mom's side there's green eyes. so let's hope baby come out with something pretty lol
Lol the things men say are never what we expect. Luckily for me my twins were born with ocean blue eyes that turned hazel and green and a bit of brown
@wildflower16, same 😭😂 but my boyfriend's side of the family actually has colored eyes
@mommy3, my babies have no chance then lol.
