I strongly encouraged mommies to be with other children (especially toddlers and bonus babies) to include them in the pregnancy. Take them to the doctor with you even the ultrasound.... In my opinion it helps with bringing the addition to your family. They feel included and in my experience reduce jealousy 💞

The hospital won't let me bring my son in for ultrasounds, but he's been with me to every ultrasound/doctor appointment at my OB doctor's office. I'm trying to keep him as Involved as possible, especially since I'm the only one in 3 generations to have baby #2 so it's important for me to make him understand what's going on and know that I want him to love this baby too.

yea my doctors wouldn't allow kids so my kids just helped me with getting the house baby ready and both my kids would rub lotion on my belly at night and read to sissy

My kids love being involved. They came to my anatomy ultrasound and were amazed. They've made the experience much more enjoyable.

@Kimberlyyyy, @babygirl10-11 @queeneden @edomke yes involving them makes a big difference I learned that with my biological oldest and step son. They were a bit jealous in the beginning with my son it was just he and I for 9 years and then we became a family of 4 and then 5. But I took them to appointments and let them help put stuff together so they wouldn't feel excluded. Now with this one all 3 kids are looking forward to her being born 😊
