@ashleemarie, A friend of mine had to have one, it cost like $2,000 all together, but she did a payment plan and paid like $1000 down and the rest in payments. All they did was draw blood out of her arm and the dad's arm.
if u do invasive u can miscarry but like she said u can do noninvasive which is just ur blood sample but its expensive either way
There are way more advanced none invasive ways through blood work as early as 8 wks here is a excerpt from a site Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP): A non-invasive prenatal paternity test is the most accurate non-invasive way to establish paternity before the baby is born. The process is state-of-the-art, combining the latest technology and proprietary methods of preserving and analyzing the baby’s DNA found naturally in the mother’s bloodstream. This test requires only a simple blood collection from the mother and alleged father and can be performed any time after the 8th week of pregnancy. The test is 99.9% accurate.
@ashleemarie, They do not do Prenatal Phaternity test like that anymore!!!! It is not dangerous at all the way they do it now!!
@ashleemarie, No, it is way more advance now a days!! All they do is take your blood spin it down and get baby's DNA strand out of it then test it to the potential dads.. It is expensive tho!! DNACenter.com
@ashleemarie, yes ; anytime they have to do an amniocentesis it can cause risk for miscarriage .
