So how does the glucose test work? Drink the stuff, then wait an hour to get my blood drawn? And then leave? I'm pretty sure my doctor told me but I was probably zoned out lol.

My 1st OB did that. The one I had my last pregnancy had me drink it when I got there, did my appointment, then I had my blood drawn and got to leave

@lynleesmom115, that's exactly what my OB did. I chose to go after a wic appointment and was starving by the time it was done because the OB said not to eat before hand. I was sitting in the blood lab forever oh and you have 5 minutes to chug it!

I just wanna get in & out quick because my appointment is at 11:30 & I have a hair appointment at 2:00... So hopefully it doesn't last that long @laura_love @jonesmum

@lynleesmom115, no matter what, it's going to take an hour. you have to wait an hour from the time you drink it till they draw your blood.

With mine, I went to the lab. They started by drawing my blood, then gave me the drink. Then drew my blood at a half hour. Then at the hour. And again. A half hour later.
