Slightly fed up now!! Had midwife appointment with the community midwifes was meant to have a sweep today but they had no gloves argh they said he's 2 fifths engaged booked in a sweep next week but then said if he isn't here by then then they will do it, did they just say this to keep me happy and have hope or is there a good chance he can come xx

@zeld, @tuftyturtle yh I had a sweep with my son in my last pregnancy and it didn't work and it wasn't pleasant so I was just building myself up for it today I don't want to have him early just in agony with everything and no medication is working I just don't want to go over my due date because when I did with my son he was really poorly because I went over x
I agree with @zeld. I don't think a sweep does anything unless you're already ready to drop. This time I won't be having one if I go over.
To be fair, I'm not convinced a sweep does anything.... You're either ready to go or you're not... I appreciate how eager you are too meet your bubba but they will be here so soon. I went 19 days over with my last baby so trust me, I get the desperation!!!

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
