@lovebugsmom26, oh I hear ya!! I think the main thing to think about when you're considering your birth plan is whether you're open to medication or not, and to let your doctor know your comfort levels. I straight up told my doctor that I have a low pain-tolerance level, but I am DEATHLY afraid of needles, so the epidural makes me nervous. She's wonderful though and explained that we can consider SO many options and that the chances of something going wrong with the epidural process is very slim. Just make sure you're being honest with your doctor and keeping an open mind about all your options. And if things don't go as planned (because let's face it, when do they ever? Lol) remember that you'll get to hold your little guy/gal at the end of the process no matter how the journey goes 😘
You mean you're trying to figure out what you want for a birth plan? @lovebugsmom26 - I asked my doctor around 28-30 weeks what they had available for options as far as medications and birthing pools/balls and the chances of a c-section and episiotomy, etc. I would just ask your doctor what you should know for planning out your preferences 😉
