That's scary that they just have random people because you never know if those people are creeps. I understand that you don't want anyone there during labor, I feel like too many people would be a distraction, it's just gonna be me and her dad

@dkk, ugh same goes for me everyone wants me to call them when I'm in labor so they can come but I just plain don't want them to and it's starting to get annoying. and I know. like if I posted a picture on instagram or whatever I only have like 20 people following me because it's a private account for just close family and like 3 friends. but on the other hand my cousins have like thousands of people follow them that they have no clue who they are on ig or SC and want to post pictures , when that is my child and I don't want him exposed to any of that stuff.

I'm not letting anyone visit either, my friends have been talking about coming to visit but no one asks if I even want visitors. I'm just not telling anyone for the same reason you are, I want special bonding time with me and baby and her and her dad. I'm also not posting any pictures to fb because I have people who I've blocked but still creep on my fb and I don't want them seeing her. I also don't want anyone just posting pics of my baby either, you need to make that clear to them especially if you don't want them to because some people will just do whatever.

@no3lastone4me, I mean I know it does and obviously I want my parents and siblings to visit him but as for everyone else I rather them wait till I'm ready. but this is my parents first grandchild and I don't need them to be this controlling already of I can tell they are going to ruin the experience. and that's the last thing I want.

@jessicuhm, She should respect your decisions, but also remember it brings great pleasure for grandparents as well :) But that doesn't mean she makes your decisions for you!!

@ftmbabyboy11, @no3lastone4me that's exactly what I'm thinking. they want to tell me how they had people go visit us when we were babies and blah blah blah but it's like that my child and I will raise him and bring him around what I see fit. plus my family (not including my parents and sibilings) aren't even close. they never used to even try and talk to me until I got pregnant so they obviously are just using me to come around the new baby. i really don't mind if my family ever meets my son but I don't need my parents making me feel like I'm being a bad parents or I don't need them making his life decisions because that's MY son I am protecting. and I told my mom she can't respect that I'm not letting her be in the delivery room like she wanted.

@jessicuhm, Nope, you are completely fine making those choices for you and your family!! I wouldn't let people visit either, with both of mine!! Too much sickness out there when they are so little and their poor little bodies can't fight it off as easy!! I went into hibernation and didn't go anywhere, and if people ask to come visit tell them you aren't ready! If they get upset at you, then let them because like I said, this is YOUR family! Besides, momma knows best ;)

Absolutely not! You do whatever you want, Those are your wishes and they should respect that. I definitely don't want everyone at the hospital and I also will be picky on who is holding him till he gets some kind of vaccinations. Unfortunately some peoples family are just not understanding and just don't care...
