I had some colostrum come out , but I've been leaking since 17 weeks. since she has probably done a stretch and sweep you can definitely try pumping. :-)

My doctor said I am thinned out but she didn't say how much or anything. She did a check and said she wanted to try and send me into labor that way. I'm not sure if she swept my membranes but I started contractions after and I am still having them but haven't been really constant or regular. When you were pumping did anything come out or was it just helping with the motions?

It's easier with the pump I was doing some research online and the benefits of using the pump is that the pump stretches your nipple, it gives you the sucking motion that releases the stuff that can help Jumpstart contractions / induce labor .
I just ordered a smaller shields , it's not supposed to be painful but it kinda is. I been getting some tightening in my lower belly so I think it does sort of work...are you dilated/effaced? @bryawna13

I've been doing it by hand as long as I can stand. It hurts sometimes but I'm kinda nervous to use the pump

@bryawna13, how long do you pump/stimulate for? do you do it by hand or with the pump? I find it very uncomfortable, I think I may need a different breast shield size...
