when you buy diapers...do you compare prices or just buy whatever? how much per diaper do u usually…

It depends on what works for your child. Some kids will have a skin reaction to certain diapers. I like to use the 'Luvs' brand. It's cheaper than Huggies and Pampers, and my son never leaks with them! I pay around $18 for a box of 120ish and it last a week and a half for us

I (basically) always bought pampers even if there were cheaper diapers but it depends for everyone. Lots of people go to Costco and get huggies because they're cheaper. Some people swear the cheap diapers work better, I personally never even bothered with store brand. When my son was a newborn we did huggies because they had the umbilical cord cut out & wetness indicator for premie and newborn sizes, then somewhere in size 1 we switched to pampers and never had issues. If you can, just buy small sizes of each brand and see what work best and then start buying big boxes because you do go through a lot in the beginning because as a new mom you want to make sure they're always dry and then as they get older they'll go more often.

@gabby0317, Well I've been stock piling diapers specifically Pampers and I have 1 case of Huggies... I'm not a couponer although I need to be because I have four boys and they can eat... I usually buy when Pampers are on sale which is usually from Target and I always get a $10 Target gift card. My shower isn't until Sunday and as of right now I have 1 case of N, 3 cases of size 1, 3 cases of size 2 and 1 case of size 3 which I think is too much... But I was told they could be exchanged for other sizes...

i just buy which ever diapers i like lol i also go by how much money we have at the moment. i like huggies and luvs. they both work great for my baby. i normally by huggies unless we are low on money then i buy luvs. but i dont mind luvs.

i get huggies and i know if you go on their site they always have coupons on their. I typically buy from walmart but my momma has a costco membership so I get from there as well. Walmart will allow you to exchange unopened packs of diapers for store credit.

I prefer Huggies little movers, but buy Luvs when we are a little short on money. I definitely like the Huggies better for night time especially though.

oh and prices here are $15 for a box of 120 Luvs or $25 for 96 Huggies.
