I got in birth control (Mirena) after I had my son and I was told it was a possibility my periods could stop all together. My period is weeks late and now I'm TERRIFIED to test. I didn't think my period would stop so soon since I haven't had it for long but either way I need to soon...

Lol I'll make sure I'll do that my husband is getting operated so he can't get me pregnant cuz I just can't wait to take this mirena out, I'm tired of having to deal with birth controls they either change your body or makes you moddy, headaches, stress, break out and you can keep going cuz of all the hormones it has, that's why I told my husband you going to get operated cuz I'm done with birth controls @proud_mami87

thats how i was wit the Mirena 3 years ago until i got pregnant wit my baby Alina 😕 my doctor said maybe it fell out cus it wasnt inside me, Thank God. now I'm debating wit birth control to get =/
After I got it it took me 6 months to get it, now my periods are irregular right now it's being months since I haven't got it I can spot for a day and the next day I'll have nothing then it will take me a while to get my period which sucks but that's what the mirena does it makes you get irregular periods and you won't know when you will get it @christophersmommy
Now if time pass and you still feeling concern about it call your doctor and get checked out @christophersmommy
@lovegod89, how long after you got it did it take for you periods to stop?
When I went to get the Mirena 4 years ago I didn't had my period for 6 months, so if you don't get your period for a while don't worry it's just because of the Mirena birth control
