@mindylou, Thank you, I'm not sure what to expect if I dont pass this time. I'm unfamiliar with things at this point

my doctor said its pretty common not to pass and everything be fine. I didnt pass my hour but passed my 3 hour.

@amber.s95, I just want to know what happens when you don't pass the 3 hour test, I'm kinda scared

my doctor told me if I didnt pass then he would send me to a specialist that would help me get my blood sugar under control and teach me how to eat to keep myself and baby healty.

@amber.s95, If so I hope that's all I have to do. Both sides of my family have alot of health problems and my past 2 pregnancies were high risk (I had preeclamsia and delivered before 37 weeks both times) so this time I was hoping to go full term and have a healthy pregnancy

I didn't pass my one hour but I passed my 3 hour one barely. Had I not passed it, I would've had gestational diabetes & would've have to go to a class at the hospital that teaches you how to eat & be on a diabetic diet. Also you have to prick your finger 4 times a day to check ur sugar. U didn't eat anything before you went, right?

I would ask by how much you didn't pass because it could've been by as little as a point that they are making a big deal about😕😕

@theredheadchic, No food or drinks for me after midnight so that isn't the issue. I dont eat or crave much sweets even though I'm having a girl. I'm kinda lost as to why this is happening but I will do whatever I have to do to make sure me and baby girl are healthy

@ce5ce, Well they told me when I didn't pass the 1 hour test that my levels were slightly high but didn't mention any numbers or anything. I was upset being that I've never had a peoblem with my sugar levels before but it worries me with my family history of diabetes

Well with most women, it's really not about eating sweets. The way my nurse explained it to me is its just your body not processing insulin (or something like that, I dk the correct terms) & she also said not too worry too much if I didn't pass it bc women that do develop gestational diabetes are must more healthy & their babies are way healthier & smaller. So u can look at it that way, but I also wouldn't worry much.

@theredheadchic, I just want to finally carry and deliver a full term baby. I had to be induced due to having preeclamsia in my past 2 pregnancies and this time I'm really looking forward to a natural labor as well as going into labor on my own

Awwww man!!!! I felt extremely sick for the first 2 hours, it was so horrible! Was the drink hot? They gave me a hot one which made it wayyyy worse!

@theredheadchic, No they always keep the drinks cold. I feel like I'm in a nightmare
