Idk what I'm going to do for the next 11 weeks...I work in the lobby at a beach resort where I walk/stand on my feet for 8-10 hours every day. I just transferred to this department from another restaurant inside the resort so I don't want to seem like I'm whining but every step I take hurts more than the last. My ankles and knees are so sore & so swollen I limp and wince in pain. And I'm not the type to say anything until my pain level is about an 8....my body isn't letting me work but we need the money. I've tried all of the shoe inserts & nothing! And when I get home I elevate my feet but since I work so much I never have time to heal..Going to try to get compression socks tomorrow. My mom developed toxemia with my sister & had to deliver at 31 weeks...but lower body swelling is my only symptom. Any other mommies have this or a similar dilemma?! Or any pointers??? 😩

I work 8-12 hour days 6 days a week and have my whole pregnancy. It definitely gets uncomfortable but it's possible! I wear compression socks everyday, as well as shoe inserts and a belly support band. Make sure you don't stand in one place for too long and just listen to your body. If you can't do it you can't do it, don't force yourself!

I understand what your going through l worked at a beach resort in Boca raton up until l was 20 weeks 11 to 14 hour shifts on my feet, lifting boxes pushing karts 50 to 100 pounds 4 to 5 days a week and it was torch on my body. I tried everything to buying different shoes to trying to take frequent breaks ass much as l can l eventually end up leaving and getting another job that consists of me sitting down and now that I'm 30 weeks body is still in pain because of the pregnancy but l feel way better than before. so times your body just can't handle it. do what's best for baby and you at the end.💕

It definitely gets harder im not going to lie. I'm just really focused on saving as much as possible and I know the more I work, the longer I'll get to stay home with baby afterwards. I bought my compression socks from Walgreens. I don't think they're any special kind, but they really helped with the swelling for me. It made the pain more bearable! I hope they can help you just as much!
