@jerika21, I haven't eaten much fish. Only because the though of it makes me want to vomit. But I drink energy drinks. Regular pop. I've had sandwiches and subs. And everything is all good in the womb! Lol
You can have fish! The only fish you have to avoid is fish that eat other fish because they are higher in Mercury limit tuna yo twice a week and avoid big fish & shark deli meat hot dogs and other processed meat should be heated to steaming and avoid any raw meat or fish. Also any products that are unpasteurized
You just can't have high in Mercury fish, and cold deli meat, I had diet soda my hole pregnancy (my ob always told me to drink diet soda, she didn't want me to drink my calories! My Babbitt wad fine from diet and came out weight 8 pounds ) that's all I can think of
I try and avoid all fish just because it's very controversial what we can/can't have. You cannot have cold hot dogs or deli meat, but you can eat it if it's cooked. You cannot have: Gorgonzola, feta, most Mexican cheeses, ginseng, undercooked eggs (sunny side up), unpasteurized milk or orange juice, and you should limit your caffeine intake to 12 ounces a day (a soda).
I heard some fish is okay but that's what I heard I've had whitting and shrimp but in limited amounts like maybe one filet of whitting and maybe a bowl full of shrimp but just be careful look into how much mercury is in it and if you don't know if it's safe try looking the type of fish up online and if not don't eat it

anything raw pretty much or w preservatives like lunch meat unless u cook it and watch certain fish even cooked
@lydiasmommie, @momtobe092015 thanks for some tips--- I hope having fish like cooked tilapia or cooked shrimp is ok----deli meats I rarely eat maybe 1x a month
I know you can only have hot dogs and deli meat if you heat it up or steam it. but honestly I cheat on that I get my deli meat from a reputable butcher so I know where it comes from and have deli sandwiches once a month Lol try to stay away from junk food if not it's not gonna harm the baby just doesn't provide any nutrients. no diet soda or anything with aspertame in it. harms the baby's growth. that's just food wise that I know of medicine wise and pain rubs are a whole different story
I know fish, any kind pretty much you can't eat! which was a bummer for me because I love shrimp and catfish. I know you can eat some tuna occasionally as long as it's not too often or a lot.
