So just getting back from my doctor appt. 39 weeks today ☺️ doctor decided to check my cervix to "try and get things moving along". She said I have thinned out! She didn't say how much or if there is dilation tho 😒 did anyone go into labor after having their cervix checked?:)

@karnawest, @maddieg4648 she said I was already thinned some so maybe it will do something ☺️ we can always hope! Haha I just don't want to have to be induced😣 @andersongirl maybe because you aren't 39 weeks yet? Hopefully Thursday brings you good news!!!!! That would be great ☺️

@bryawna13 Yeah sounds like she did do a sweep, they are not comfortable... I had mine swept and it didn't really help me but it might for you!

Yes! It hurt so bad but so worth it! Lol hopefully the stimulating will do the trick. I did it for 30 mi
@karnawest, I have no idea what she did all I know is that it hurt! Lol she said she did an exam and sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. @maddieg4648 sounds like I need to do some work! Lol
Not me!😩 I've gotten checked 3 times and nothing. 3 weeks ago I was 1/2cm dilated & 50% effaced. 2 weeks ago 2cm & 75%. Last week it stayed the same. I have a doc appt this Th and I'm hoping for some progress. I'll be 39w this Sun.
Me me me! I had a membrane sweep at 9, nothing was happening so I did some nipple stimulation and bam! Went into labor 30 min later had her 8 hours later! Good luck!
Well with you being at 39 weeks and her saying that I'm wondering if she swept your cervix... if so then it might help get things started
