Something to think about! Not to mention all those disposable diapers sitting in landfills.
I have some of everything but love my lalabye all in twos the best. Next would be thirsties and best bottom covers with flour sack towels, prefolds or hemp/bamboo inserts.
Exactly and it's honestly so easy like I'm on vacation and still using cloth
@junebaby I can't wait to start! What do you use? I have a mixture going. Prefolds, some flats, hemp/bamboo liners, flour sack cloths, receiving blankets, a few PUL covers, and all that's left are some tshirt covers and fleece covers that I'll make myself for around the house and night time.
@californiahaley Good point! And if you figure close to 4k diaper changes per kid from birth to potty training, sitting for a minimum of 5 years during which another almost 20 million babies have been born, that's a whole lot of diapers!
Yeah, I don't think I'm going to spend nearly that amount per diaper. I'm going to be making a lot myself, hopefully. @junebaby
And just think when you put sposies in trash bags those don't break down there for the elements can't get to the diapers to break those down so when people say they take 5 years to break down that's only AFTER the plastic bag gets broken open after who knows how long if ever.
I have sun baby pockets too that aren't bad but I don't like stuffing pockets so much.
