@ainsleighsmommy you're right every household is different because my husband rather our daughter plate is fixed first, then his, and mine last. We all sit at the table and eat together

i see where you are coming from. couldnt knock you for it. i salute every woman that can put their man first. I just dont see it in my household.

I wouldn't mind having daddy's food ready first. Lets think abt it, hes just come home from work, i am going to need to feed the kids anyway--especially if they are infant or toddler, so why not wait---mommy and baby will eat at the same time. Realistically how much time is going to elapse between handing daddy his food and finishing my and kids plate--- no more than 3 min, multi-tasking

Your right every house hold is different and you probably will get many debating comments on this post.. But what caught my eye was then you wonder why he cheat or leave. I mean if he does this just for not serving him first... Then he never really loved the woman

I personally would set all the plates together so it can be a family meal or kids & daddy if i dont want to eat

@forever_hungry, I wasn't talking about the feeding first when I said that . I'm saying if you aren't showing him love like you used to be before kids then I feel like when he cheats don't wonder why because you can make something your priority and forget about him .

I usually give my husband his plate first but honestly I've never thought about it lol. My mom would always make everyone's plate at the same time then set them on the table...so everyone kinda got fed at once. I don't really put much thought into the whole feeding one before the other thing and I don't think my husband does either. I've never even thought about it before this post lol. And like @dashhaberdash said its not like there's much time in between anyways. 😊

Huh... I guess I do both... sometimes I give him his plate first... sometimes I put my son plate down first.. I do know that my husband never starts eating until I sit down though... I asked him one time if everything was alright and he said just waiting for you

Well I'm not married yet I just have to worry about my child but my opinion everyone get fed at the same time

I feed my hubby first cuz normally the kids are off playing and while I'm making their plates their washing their hands and stuff like that but if their on the living room waiting for dinner cuz they extra hungry I feed them first

I feel like your main point is being missed and people are getting caught up in the "who gets fed first" part of it... I definitely believe your marriage and union should come first, as it is the foundation for your family.

I understand your point I truly do. I agree with some parts and disagree on others. Whatever works for you in your household is good for you.

Ahhh that's different then yeah👍 nobody like it they adjustto it but sometimes its tiring and these are things we have to remember. Sometimes if not all the time he has to go first

my hubby comes first. I mean in reality I wouldn't be pregnant Right now if I didn't have him and I wouldn't have this roof over my head. he supports me, why wouldn't he come First? I have all day with my baby when she gets here, I hardly get time with Austin anyways.
