We don't use any jarred baby food I make everything from organic veggies and fruits...right now we've been buying puffs and cookies for her as snacks but I'm probably going to look up some healthy organic recipes for those too...when she first started solids I mixed BM in the purées for added nutrition and a smoother texture

I may just skip cereal... bc he said I could the dr. And it's not nutritious right. so maybe well just do veges. good or bad idea?

I get my organic stuff from whole foods and trader Joes ( grocery stores near me) the bb comes with a recipe book and it has a recipe for brown rice cereal in it as well as oatmeal cereal

Walmart veggies/fruits would be much better than jar food some jar food sits on the shelf for like 3 yrs

I think skipping cereal would be ok we only gave her cereal bc at 2 weeks she was eating 6oz screaming for more then couldn't keep it down so her dr had us putting it in her bottles... You can either grind it up in the bb or you can cut super tiny tiny pieces we haven't decided which were gunna do yet

You're welcome ☺️...and he will probably waste a lot but I only started with a tablespoon in her bowl at a time bc you can't save it once the spoon has been in his mouth and back into the food

I heat them all up for about 10secs in the microwave mainly bc i couldn't imagine eating cold food I just heat them enough to make it like room temp

yea regular rice cereal has no nutritional value and is used more so as a filler to get baby full/sleep longer or thru the night, but I don't have any use for that right now and if I do I'll use organic if need be, but I plan on going straight into food. I'm making my own baby food as well. at least I know exactly what's in it

Yes same here. mine doesn't sleep well threw night but honestly it's not that bad. And my doctor specifically said it won't make them full longer. to sleep longer lol. so I'm probably just gonna skip it!

I only used organic cereal but since she's eating real food we no longer need it to keep her milk down... Yeah I would wait till he's back to normal since his shots ...just remember that just cause he's getting solids doesn't mean he should be taking a lot less milk... With solids he may drink like 3-6oz less per day but he should be getting milk even when he gets solids ☺️

we just feed on demand! I read to feed him breast milk first then try food a little after so you know Hes not that hungry Yes nothing against cereal! I just also don't want to pump ! @paisleysmama0216 and I'm glad she's keeping her milk down. r u using liners to clean poo? or r u just scraping it off? @paisleysmama0216

I feed her bottles on demand since she's a cluster feeder most days...I don't blame you pumping is a pain but for us it was either pump or formula and id take pumping any day! I just spray the poo into the toilet

No my shower head easily reaches to over my toilet so I do that lol

I spray off all the big stuff to where it just looks like it's stained like there's very little poo actually on the diaper..some people dunk the diaper in the toilet and swish while flushing...it works but I prefer to touch the poo as little as possible
