you don't have to put it in their bottles. I do it because of my daughter's acid reflux and she isn't old enough to have solids. But since she is getting The rice cereal in the morning and more solids during the day there is no need to give her it in her bottle. I feel that. that would be to much food for her and she needs just formula

Yea I do understand that some babies have to have it. and I would only do it if I needed to... but it just irks my nerves how he thinks at 6 months she would need cereal in her bottle lol she's way too old for that! @courtney_boyea

You don't need cereal in her bottle...the only time you should ever put cereal in a baby's bottle is if they can't keep down just plain milk or are continuously hungry after eating way more that they should for their age (ex. Pai was eating 6oz at 2 weeks and screaming for more then she'd basically throw it back up) I wouldn't even do it to get baby to sttn since its normal for them to wake up and eat in the middle of the night

As long as you're giving her cereal it doesn't matter whether it's in the bottle or not... My pediatrician actually prefers not giving it to them in the bottle if they can eat it the other way...
