@beautyandbeastie, if you have it you will have to change what you eat & will have to record your blood sugars. if a diet doesn't control it you will have to take meds/insulin. it may or may not go away after baby is born.
ohh okay thanks so much lady's all I do is eat sweets all day !! & I get tested thursday
@blue_october92, most tests are between 24-28 weeks so she's still in the time frame. you get tested earlier if you have high glucose in your urine. @beautyandbeastie I craved sweets all the time & didn't have it. all it is is high blood sugar in pregnant woman who have never had diabetes. it's just because all the changes in your body can make you resistant to insulin. if you have it, your pancreas doesn't allow the cells to use glucose effectively as energy.
It's like pregnancy symptoms. Always thirsty, increased urinating, always hungry. I have it and if you do end up having it follow the diet because it's for you and baby
