Thinking about getting my daughters ears pierced in the next two weeks. i Dnt want to see or hear her cry, but i think it's better if i do them now, then to wait for when shes abit older, it will be more painful. Any mommy's wit daughters, how old did you get her ears pierced or when are u planning on getting them done?
no rude comments please. 😁
@uhmandaxconrad92, i agree with you 100% and i seen some mommas on the baby bump app talking about how it's child abuse like really? lol
I had my little girls ears pierced when she was 4 months old...she had health problems and I even spoke to both of her doctors about it first... They said that it is absolutely best to do it as a baby because less risks for infection... You gotta think when they get older they will mess with them and get an infection. As baby's they won't pay them much attention. My daughter was five and always telling me how she was happy to have her ears pierced. Another thing I hate when parents try to talk down about it I mean...little boys get circumsized and little girls get their ears pierced! It's really no big deal.
please do research first and don't go to a place at the mall with piercing guns. they are truly awful and more painful than going to say a tattoo parlor and having them professionally done! call shops and ask if they will do it!
@_akgirl, my parents did the same!! lol
@proud_mami87 I am neither making her wait until she's "x" yrs old, nor am I piercing them any time soon (she is currently 13mo.) I just want them to be her decision of when she wants them. I don't have anything against babies ears pierced, it's just not for us :)
@_akgirl, yeah she did.. yes they do look adorable =) me and my sisters got them done when we were 2 months Old.
has she had her 2month shots yet? or 6w. whichever you're scheduled for. gotta wait til after that. I'm personally waiting til my daughter is 13. that's how old i had to be to get mine done. i have nothing against it at all. babies are adorable with their ears pierced 😃
i actually wanted to get my daughters ears pierced this week shes only 2 months but we dont have the money since i just got a phone i really needed it
I got mine done when I was 9 years old. Lol. It didn't hurt, but my mum made me wait until I could be responsible and take care of myself (general hygiene) and do chores and do well in school. I had a friend who had it done when she was a baby and she ended up ripping it of as a kid, can't remember the details but it didn't look pretty.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
