32 weeks in two days! How bad is laying on your back really? I've always heard different suggestions from different people, but lately I've been waking up on my back, and I tend to lay on my back while on my phone or anything in that sort.. What harm is it really doing? And should I stop... P.S (he moves a lot when I do as well)

I'm wondering this as well!!

The reason why they don't live you laing on your back especially the further along you are is because the weight of your uterus and baby is on all of those veins and can limit the oxygen.. I know the further along I got it hurt to lay on my back because of all the pressure. laying on it for a bit is fine but not long periods of times.

I do know about that, but I wonder how risky it actually is. American culture is to be over-dramatic, over-cautious and paranoid about everything, lol. @mrsstewart

Oh OK lol. I'm not sure exactly but I couldn't stay that long after a while anyway and if I were to roll over in my back while sleeping I'd wake up with my butt half asleep lol. . @mamalamadingdong

Hahaha! It is harder to breathe laying on your back, so that's gotta say something! @mrsstewart
