I have never been told not to eat for a glucose test they just tell me not to pig out on sugary junk food before I come.... I think the only time they make you fast is is you have to do the 3 hour test

I've been there but they usually let you eat half a sandwich and mind like 10 hrs before. I think. but awh I'm sorry to hear that. keep us updated feel better!

I have GD so they have me fast and then take my blood at 8 am roughly if they aren't late then go eat break and come back 2 hours after my last bite at breakfast

what they don't understand is I can't stay up until midnight and eat and then go to bed so I stopped eating way before midnight so by the time 8 am comes around I'm starving

I'm going to take my blood sugar in a few let's see if it's in the 90s or below :/ will update shortly (hope I don't pass out)
