Just a thought... I'm expecting my first child. I recently turned 30, have lived in nyc, chicago and overseas in Istanbul and Diyarbakir, Turkey. I've graduated college, and seen my mother battle and thankfully beat cancer. Despite all of this, having a child is the most terrifying experience I've ever gone through. I've learned, however, to be positive and determined in life because it is my disposition that matters- NOT my circumstances. With that said, I fully believe any woman- of any age, background, social status, is capable of being an outstanding mother. It is our duty as women to support each other, because these positive social bonds contribute to our success as upstanding mothers and women.
