yes it's horrible waiting lol. but I'm a mommy of three and my second baby I waited till four weeks I was so scared after i thought I would get pregnant again i was just waiting and waiting for my period lol but it came thank Goodness and I swore I would never do that again. Even if u stop bleeding u may not be fully healed. I am pregnant my thrid baby now and me and my husband has been doing it so much because we know once its time to have lil man I'm not gonna be able to do it for six weeks. but ask ur Dr at ur 4 week apt if it's okay. If he thinks you are healed enough and all he will tell u its fine .If he says wait till six weeks its mostly because your not all the way closed yet and it can cause infections. I know it sucks I totally feel u on that.

There is a hole down there that is not closed and that's why the doctor has to clear you because you are at high risk for infection.:..I would definitely wait. But some do it so it's really up to you if you are willing to take the chance

I would just wait. The doc makes you wait for a reason! Infection/possibility of getting pregnant again/etc...

I waited til 4 weeks pp... and just got my period at 6 weeks pp

breastfeeding definitely isn't a form of bc...I got pregnant with sweet baby number 4 (almost 14 weeks now) while breastfeeding my youngest :) I have a few friends and relatives that also conceived while breastfeeding :) quite honestly though, if you feel like you're ready for it, go for it mama!!! you know your body better than anyone else :) you can always use a condom :)

There's always other ways to be intimate if you are unsure about waiting to see your doc.

Breastfeeding doesn't keep you from getting pregnant. In fact right after you have a baby is the easiest time to get pregnant.

Don't believe breast feeding keeps you from getting pregnant I've seen it still happen. Honestly not many wait but use condoms and don't do too much remember your body is still healing.. And if you wanted BC you most likely won't be given any if you have sex because there is always the possibility of pregnancy again so most doctors won't give you BC until you get your period.
