At hospital. Felt a gush and having contractions. Still only 1 cm dilated she said. Hope these contractions stick around to dilate me more.

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
Question.. is it possible for one to be in “active labor” but not be dilated AT ALL? The only thing she’s having is contractions, not regular, irregular pattern contractions. They come in groups she says.
Having contractions every 3-4 mins since 4:44 ima try to wait them out BC last time I was having contractions 3 mins apart I wasn't dilating any but I was a finger tip and at my last appointment I was a full centimeter dilated.
