There's a hormone called relaxen (sp?) that your body produces during pregnancy to prepare your body to give birth. It really works the hips especially since they have to spread to give birth, so that may be what you're experiencing.
I think so. I had a lot of hip pain during my pregnancy, but especially towards the end when the baby drops, it's killer. You might look up "relaxen pregnancy hormone" and it should give you more information.
