Okay so here's my story:
I was supposed to be due on July 19th with my son but when I went to the doctors I still wasn't dilating, and I hadn't dropped yet😔my doctor told me he wouldn't be able to induce me until I was 42 weeks! And I wasn't waiting that long so I used my complex regional pain syndrome and fibromyalgia to get a closer induction date... I went into the hospital last night at 7 I still wasn't dilating so they hooked me up to an IV and gave me a cervidil that I had to keep in for 12 hours hoping it would thin me out so they could induce me at 7 this morning with pitocin. At about 1:15 this morning I was in tears and couldn't take the pain anymore and begged them to take out the cervidil so they did, and when they checked me I was 60% effaced and 5cm dilated. They told me that at 2:30 they were going to hook me up to the pitocin to start inducing my labor. I was in so much pain before that so my doctor had me get an epidural. She forgot about the pitocin and at 4:15am my water broke and I had my bloody show which I didn't think would happen but I'm glad it did. At about 5am I felt a lot of pressure and I couldn't take it so I called my nurse into the room and she checked me and told me I was having my baby because he was already half way out! I was shaking so bad because he wasn't supposed to be here until tonight. Being a first time mom it was the scariest thing to hear that I was actually having my baby. I ended up pushing him out in 10 mins and was so relieved when I heard him cry. Having him here with me is literally the greatest feeling in the world💙 and I was even happier that my body went into natural labor on its own instead of me being induced!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
