Rant: My mother in law is throwing me my baby shower. I'm very appreciate of everything she's done. She's done all my decorations and more... Now my baby shower is tomorrow. My mom has been after her because she obviously wants to help out, and she kinda keeps putting her to the side... My mom already covered the food, cakes, games etc... Now she wants to help set everything up and so on. Well it makes me upset because my mom is trying she wants to help out and this lady isn't letting her. She keeps trying to do everything herself. I'm like why? I told you my mom would be there in anything you needed or would help you with anything. Now I don't want her to talk crap in the end saying she did everything and killed herself trying to prepare everything when no one asked her too and she's been offered a lot of help by my mom but she keeps putting her to the side.... 😓😒

Make her a corsage just for her or make sure so take lots of pics with her and keep her nearby, maybe ask if she can write down what you got and who from.. maybe your MIL can't make her feel special but you can :) let her know you see what she's been doing and that you appreciate it. I'm sorry :(

I can relate !!! Okay so my boyfriends mother offered to do baby shower and I was like sure .... My mom knew about it and never said anythjng so I was cool ... OMG mother in law did everything .. From decorating my favorite theme which was lion king theme and also added cheetah to it .. She even made the bomb cake and cupcakes .. Then all of sudden my mom said she was disappointed n felt left out which I understand but like really becAuse when i got pregnant with my first daughter I was living with her at that time I was visiting away from college during summer break she never once offered a baby shower or anythjng I had to use my own money .. So it just surprised me my mom felt this way but I tried her to convince to get involved so now she's taking care of the food and games .. I felt Gulity so yeah..

@tjmcjm, thank you :') but of course! It's my mom she knows how much I love her she's my favorite person I just feel bad because it's like this lady isn't allowing to help and my mom would be there to do whatever you know? She even called the day off to help.

@latia0321, Awh :| we'll see that's different too.. This is my first baby so you know my mom is all excited. My bf already has another baby. Anyways yeah my mother in law has invested a lot of money and time into this. Which I said I really do appreciate. My family doesn't have the type of money she does but it's like if you see people are trying to help you let them help..... It makes it easier you know. Btw I hope your baby shower turns out perfect 😍
