My son is one month today, and he's been having this greenish eye booger like stuff in his right eye since we left the hospital. The medicine they gave me didn't work. But I've been doing research and I think his tear duct is clogged. Anybody experience something similar. What should I do?

My daughter had the same thing but her gunk was bright yellow. It's a clogged tear duct, just apply gentle pressure from the bottom of the duct towards her nose about 5 times a few times a day. Hers came and went and came back then finally stopped for good.

That happened to me when I was a baby and I actually had to have surgery on my eye.

If you're breastfeeding use some of your milk. It'll clear it up in a couple days or less
