How many mommies did an all natural birth with no epidural? I would love to hear opinions on it too!

don't feel bad if the pain is too much get the epidural it saved my life lol no really it helps u so much and baby doesnt get affected

went all natural, contractions started at midnight but they just felt like period cramps didn't get worse until 6:30 am had her at 9:25am . the contractions hurt more than the actual pushing

yes what @threekings101415 said remember to breathe the breathing helped me get threw the pain that and humming idk why but it helped me ..... and if I ever have another baby I will be going all natural again

my contractions did fell like period cramps when they first started during the morning but I didn't know they were contractions I had them all day but at 11 that night the became painful and at 1230 my water broke so for me labor was only 3 hrs

no iv meds and yes the contractions were the worst part I didn't even feel the baby come out. . but my labor was really quick I got to the hospital at 1241am and had my baby at 1:25am I was already 8 1/2 cm when I got there I was in the middle of getting my iv for getting the epidural when my baby came right out without me pushing

i tried but when i got to about 7cm i had to get the epidural. before i got it i asked for pain meds to help nothing worked. but one i did get the epidural everything went fast they said it was a great idea i got it cause she didnt come out how she was suppose to (shoulders vertical not horizontal and face down) which cause me to tear inside and out. but all women are different

am I going natural again ? yesssssss ma'am. this is the last kid I plan to have and I want the experience one last time so I can have memories 😊😊

I think so, I got mine at a local bookstore I'm sure it won't be hard to find they also have a website. Based on what I've been reading and my friend's/family's experiences the idea if "pain" in birth is a matter of perspective and fear. when you change your perspective on what birth is to you, you transform the pain, and when you let go of the fear, you let go the pain. It's about trusting and listening to your body, going with it and not fighting what your body is doing.

idk. I can say this. it hurt so bad, that I asked for the epidural but it was already to late. 😞😒

I went natural .. and it is painful. the hardest part I say is "the contractions" they are very breath taking, and they will take your breath away.. you have to remember to breath. if you have low pain tolerance then I suggest the epidural or pain meds cause that mess hurt. and no it do not feel like period cramps like every female say.. well at least for me it didn't.

@loveless, can I get the book at Barnes and noble? I'm really leaning more towards a natural birth, epidurals are too messy. My friend just gave birth three days ago and had to get her epidural done 3 times because they kept messing it up, now she has sever back pains and headaches.

I'm going for a natural birth, I'm reading this book called Sacred Birthing, I highly recommend giving it a read! Also look into hypno-birthing

@babygirl10-11, did you have any meds in your IV? Were the contractions the worst of the pain?

I did not by choice tho .... in my opinion wasn't as bad as I thought now if I ever plan on having a forth I'm gonna try and go natural
