If you think it is not worth pursing or are worried about getting this person in "trouble," you need to realize that you are owed damages and from the details you have given, you were wronged. Legal action could possibly prevent this from happening to someone else. Depending on what actually happened, you could be awarded not only for wrongful termination, but also a few other things like lost wages and infliction of emotional distress. If you find a good lawyer (and often you can easily find pro bono lawyers for these types of cases, or lawyers who will only collect a percentage of your award, etc.) they will plead for various related charges, upping your value. Too many people are taken advantage of every day and don't utilize their right to take action!!!

What I can do is help navigate you through eeoc.gov if need be until you can get a private consult. And it doesn't necessarily matter that you have no legal record of employment. There are ways around that and worst case scenario, your employer or other witnesses/employees would have to testify.

I am in law school and while I haven't taken the BAR yet and I am technically not allowed to give legal advice until I am certified, I can help out in some other ways if you are interested.

Whether or not your belly shows is not an excuse to fire you, that's absolutely appalling. I would go back in there and say that if she does fire you that you'll press charges against her for unlawful firing and discrimination. Call your HR department and talk to them about your options, because getting fired for being pregnant is against the law.

Depending on what state you're in, she can't fire you for just being pregnant. She shouldn't be able to discriminate because you're pregnant. In theory she should be able to accommodate your job/position for you. I would Google your state's discrimination in the work place laws and see if there's someone you can call go report her for pulling that bs.
