Can You Get Pregnant on CD 10 with a 29-Day Cycle?
did anyone get pregnant on CD 10??? dp is kind of reluctant to dtd on fertile days but is happy up until CD11 or 12.... just curious as to whether or not it might actually work 😍 I have a 29 day cycle
Yeah, I am quite excited :) but still in shock because it was unplanned. :) I think it's gradually starting to sink in :) @ttcaug15 I wish you all the best! Good luck and fingers and toes crossed! :) x
Also they said you could test positive on these tests from about 7 days past ovulation. So you won't have to wait as long. Like I said it could take you to 2 weeks for the egg to implant. So anytime between day 7-12 :) For the most accurate results you should test nearer to when your period is due :) If it still isn't positive maybe wait until the day your period is due or a week later and try a different test :) I did a clear blue about a week later just to confirm how far along I was.
Awe, I'm glad you are excited :):) I'm feeling great :) Don't be too disappointed if things don't turn out the way you wanted them to. Get the ultra early tests from ebay. You can buy them in bulks. Have a look at a few of the sellers though. All of them have different prices. I just looked for the best deal and cheaper price. This was when I wanted to check my HCG levels. They should say 10miu :) I found out that I was pregnant on the 29th of May! @ttcaug15
Sometimes you conceive but the egg/blastocyst/ball of cells don't implant. I think you have quite a good chance of conceiving though if you do have sex on CD 10. You probably won't ovulate until a few days later though. Then it can take up to 2 weeks for the fertilised egg to travel to the uterus to implant :)
Hey, you don't actually get pregnant until the cells implant. Also in the right conditions sperm can survive up to 7 days. Many people do conceive by having sex 3 days before ovulation and later. So you should have about 5/6 fertile days, 4 before you ovulate. The day you ovulate and the day after you ovulate. But sometimes the egg only survives for 12 hours instead of 24 hours. So its always best to have sex before ovulation so it gives enough time for the sperm to reach the egg :) I think I had sex about 3-5 days before ovulation. It was unplanned so I am a not sure exactly and my cycles vary greatly. 28-40 days. If you have a regular 29 day cycle then your chances of conceiving should be quite high. :)
