reading online it says a 4 month old should be sleeping around 11 hrs a night. mine barley sleeps 7.... and wakes up…

yeah he just wakes up nurses wakes up nurses. I've had to quit changing him at night bc if I do he'll stay up for a good 1.5 hrs. I feel horrible. but that's the only way he'll go back to sleep @schevanya

Have you read or heard about the four month sleep regression? Look that up, that could be what he's going through. Also, I'm s big advocate for baby oatmeal cereal in the bedtime bottle! Knocks their little butts right out.

Kaine & I just watch TV or read books for an hour before I start getting his bath ready, I try not to let his dad get him all hyper because then he fights his sleep

try not to get him all excited because it'll just be harder for him to fall asleep like an hour before you put him to bed & do all this stuff try just being calm don't do to many excited things & then maybe he'll be a lot calmer for bed. I had the same problem with Kaine except he would wake up every 2 hours at night it was very exhausting but now he goes 4 hours at least before waking up he only sleeps 8 hours at night

I do that except the bath bc that wakes him up. but he loves the lotion time. it does get him.excited though. like he will yell lol. @kainesmadre

try creating a calm environment when you're putting him to bed like take him a nice warm bath dim the lights give him a nice rub down with lotion & nurse him to sleep.. I'd how it will work for you but Kaine just started sleeping good at night & this is what I do

Bradley usually goes to sleep between 8 and ten and wake up between 530 and 730

I think I'm gonna try to put him to bed earlier. but I tried last night and he fought it. I tried630 and it was 830-9 when he finally went to sleep. @blessedmommy

I still wake up tired lol cause I somehow get less

and yes!! hell not feed for like the first 3 hrs then after that its like every hr!!

yeah I just wish he would sleep longer bc it takes me about an hr later to go to bed and then he's up so much I feel like I'm getting no sleep. I know that's part of it. but I thought things would be a little better by now... @mdomke22

but honestly every baby is different. so I wouldn't get to worried about what the Internet is saying a 4 month old "should" be doing 😊 as long as doctor says all is well then you shouldn't worry hun

my daughter only sleeps around maybe 4 hrs during the day if I'm lucky as well. but nighttime she will sleep close to 11 hrs

your baby still feeds at night? omg I'd go crazy lol...
