i need help mommies. my one week old last ate at 10:45. ive wole up at 1:45, 3, and 4 trying to feed him and he wont eat. Ive tried Changing him, undressing him, wiping him with wet wipe, playing with him. he will wake up for a min or two then go back to sleep will not take my breast or bottle. I am so worried I am thinking about going to the hospital. we were in the hospital for four days when he was born and just got to go home sunday bc he was having trouble regulating his blood sugar. the problem got better so they discharged us but now I am terrified that with him not wanting to eat that something may be wrong. our pediatrician doesnt have a after hours hotline so i have no one to call.

Yeah that's why I was crazy worried. I keep waking him up and he wouldn't eat until he finally woke up on his Own
good deal that he finally woke up! babies are suppose to feed every 2 to 3 hours, but a lot of mom's let them sleep and wake up on their own and I really dont see much wrong with that unless it's been a really long time. but, with your baby having blood sugar issues, you have to be a little more cautious!
He woke himself up at 4:50 and is now eating with no problem! !!!!
i would try not to stress. my daughter would go hours without eating and i freaked cause i was told to feed every 2 hours. but they will let you know
When a baby get hungry trust me you will know. you don't have to wake him up to eat, they will wake themselves up. Now if he don't take a bottle/boob by tomorrow morning then I would suggest taking him in to get seen. just give it more time love, its normal for a baby to sleep.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... I bet he hit a growth spurt. when babies grow sometimes there is no waking them up. plus if baby is back to birth weight let him sleep until he wakes up. no need to wake him up to feed him
