Lately I have been commenting air of advise to mommies but now I need advise.. My left arm from I think it's called the shoulder blade (done that's attached to your shoulder but in the back of you) down to my finger tips go numb a lot. The arm is not swollen or anything, just rly painful to sleep, I can't get comfy bc it's so sore. I am not sure what would cause this in only one arm. I don't lay on my back but when I do my arm tends to start feeling a tiny bit better. I rly don't know how much more of this hurting I can deal with right now. I just want to go to sleep. I am 34 weeks today pregnant and this started happening about two weeks ago, the same time I developed a couple weird rashes on my body, the doctor said that the rashes might be from poison oak or something like that I came in contact with. Not sure if there connected or not but can anyone tell me if it's normal to feel this pain and or what I should do about the pain? Any tips for sleeping when my arm hurts so bad?
Not sure about the rash, but the tingly numbing feeling in your arm could be carpel tunnel. It's extremely common in the later parts of pregnancy because you're more than likely retaining some water in your feet/hands. Ask your doc about the possibility of that, they might give you a brace to put on your arm that has a splint. I wear one on each hand while I sleep - helps A TON!
it happens to me aaaalllll the time because I sleep like a nut. see a chiropractor. you'll be fixed up in no time
My doctor said you can try ice and heat on and off, or try to get baby to move, but there isn't much more you can do, baby is laying on a nerve
Oh rly? Ok it's been happening a lot I didn't know what it was. How do I deal with it? Like I need sleep lol
@aprilcgutkopf, baby is sitting on a nerve I hate when that happens, feel like a really sore dead arm, happens in my hands too
