I want to vent on something that happened today.. I was born and raised a baptist. I know really good Christians. i am one. so not trying to put them down.
but i sat by this lady I've known for a long time. she asked me what I was doing these days. i told her. she knew I was pregnant. I told her I was living with my bf and that we are planning to get married after my older sister. she asked me where I met my bf, I said we were introduced through a friend, but I really met him at a bar.
she said "don't wait, u need to get right with the Lord. you can do 2 things to do that. either marry him before the baby comes or leave him." I told her nicely I don't want to talk about it. she went on to say "its a since, its wrong, thats adultery" (its fornication* and I like fornicating bitch)
"marriage is to protect the mother and the baby"... made no sense?
she knows my families past I told her "no it doesnt, it didn't protect MY family. my dad went and slept around with ANOTHER married woman with children". I should have asked her where her husband was and asked her if marriage protected her family.. but I told her I am done talking about this and left .
**don't judge my boyfriend. he is a really good guy that I met in a bar. lol. he buys me chocolates and flowers when last week's flowers died. he pays all bills, he buys me everything I could need. I never go hungry. he is 16 years older but he is very stable . he gives me daily massages. he is amazing and my very best friend

@elenaj, I told her we met through a friend to spare myself the critism. what really happened was "he thought I was super hot and bought me drinks all night when I was only 19, I was shit faced and made out with him right then and there" I should have told her that!! and added more to the story like "I then laid on the pool table and let him have it!!" lol I met some good guys in bars.

@momma_beffers, my parents will be celebrating their 24th anniversary on the 27th of this month.... let me tell u... they met in a bar. my mom was the bar tender and my dad was a regular. they got pregnant, then married, and now here we are. and actually their first two kids names are Bergundi and Brandi. so tell that lady where to shove it.
My first marriage was like that . My ex husband's family insisted we get married when I got pregnant with my daughter . We were both young . Needless to say our marriage didn't last but 3yrs . So now here I am with another baby coming by my boyfriend & we are waiting to get married . I don't want to be pregnant walking down the aisle . But because of the judgmental attitudes , hardly no one knows I'm pregnant .

Marriage is something that needs to be done on your own time when you're ready. it isnt something that should be forced. A marriage certificate won't change the way you love or care for your child.

Its not her job to judge you and she should know that. My boyfriends family says the same kind of things and it makes me mad. They claim to be good Christian people yet they sit back and judge others nonstop. When I found out I was pregnant they even went as far as to call our baby a sin and a mistake and tried to make us get married in a court house. Don't listen to her or anyone. Do things the way you want to do them because its your life and your choices

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
