Doctor just called I passed my 3 hour glucose test.. She said my one hour number was the only high one and she wants me to see a dietician just for a one time consultation about what foods to avoid. Anyone else do this??

I failed the 3 hour glucose test bad!
the only part of it I passed was the fasting blood draw Fasting: 92
1 hour: 205
2 hour: 198
3 hour: 155

@dianne0825, yeah she said my first hour was 199.. I was like what!!! I also almost threw the drink up after an hour I had to go lay down the rest of the test. I was so nervous though. I'm just glad it's over and I can focus on making sure little man stays cooking and I eat right!

when I saw my numbers I was like there is no way I got admitted to the hospital for 24 hours that day and I'm now on blood sugar medication :/ @jackie1124

me too!!! my doctor believes I'm type 2 diabetic and the medication is for type 2 diabetes so i most likely am :/ but if I didn't get tested I probably wouldn't have ever known so there's a plus to that gross and miserable test hahaha lol sometimes at least @jackie1124 and I didn't know either I burst into tears when they told me I'd have to be admitted into the hospital. I seriously cried for 6 hours straight
