@natesgirl, I have a galaxy s3 as well and if you just hold down the talk text button a few things should pop up and just click on the smiley face and your emojis should be there.

@natesgirl when I had my galaxy s3 I downloaded the SwiftKey keyboard and that one has emojis. It was the only way I could have them. In fact I ended up liking the keyboard so much I re-downloaded it for my galaxy s5
