I got mine at my 6 week checkup!

Generally at your check up or your second check up a few weeks after baby, the doc will ask have you had sex if you have you can't get BC until you get your next period if you haven't then they will prescribe pills or get you on your choice of BC, although you aren't supposed to have sex for at least 6 weeks after baby is born

I had mine at 8 weeks after birth , but after the trauma my vagina went through sex was the last thing from my mind so 8 weeks was nothing lol
