so I spent my whole day in the hospital basically... went in for contractions earlier dilated to a three was sent home came home around 4 slept till about 630-7 woke up because I heard my son say it smells like smoke idk what he lite and put out nor will he tell me so I yelled because i was afraid he started a fire some where in the house and when I yelled fluid came gushing out of me was clear and no smelI called my sister and friend and they said sound like your waters i went pee and tried to stay dry didn't work so I changed n put on a pad still trying to figure out where the smell of the smoke came from gave up and left because I was leaking the whole time dropped my kids off and went in I had a slight fever got a Iv n Tylenol and blood drawn and checked to see if it was my waters I never got a straight answer they basically just said it was watery mucus really ....and after that I was sent sent home still leaking still having contractions this time I was dilated to a 4 and she could feel my baby's head and my bags of water I live 30 mins away and I'm not happy at all about this I have a feeling I will be back there tonight or tmrw...so basically its just watery mucus ha! ok that sounds like an uneducated guess oh and I'm losing chuncks of mucus plug I'm at home won't be able to sleep do to painful contractions if I go up there a third time I will not be nice she said this "watery mucus can last for weeks or untill I have him...just doesn't sound right what if its my waters n I get an infection because they were wrong I feel a trickle ever now and then just not big like before... so upset

oh wow watery mucus ?? I mean it is a such thing as water mucus but it shouldn't be leaking like that. something not right with that nurse. uneducated guess . I would keep an eye on it ...

yes definitely sounds like they dont know...😕 more than likely u will go back...but thats good a 4! i didn't pass that 😞

Did they do blood work or a urinalysis to see if you have an infection somewhere since you have a fever?

And they got a sample of the "leakage" to test it to rule out that it's amniotic fluid?

@threekings101415, right I know the difference between slightly watery discharge and clear liquid,I just really hope if there is a small tear in my water a infection doesn't form because in don't have medical attention,but I'm staying up to keep an eye on it no way an I sleeping through these contractions anyways

@gabby0317, it sure doesn't sound like they know I feel like they just talk to me like I'm dumb or wouldn't understand at times,I'm glad I'm a four because last week I was closed

sounds like my last pregnancy try to keep an eye out for more fluid I stood on a chair and my husband seen the fluid dripping I can't believe they didn't keep u

@momofroyalty, i can't believe it either im upset about it im so tired but in to much pain to sleep she did mention it could be a higher leak and that's why its not dripping a lot she pressed on my waters gently even felt the baby's head and i guess because nothing came out she took that as it's not broken... never had liquid just dripping from me like that and I don't believe its mucus because there was a lot.
