I have Tricare and I just got my pump, I didn't purchase in advance. also they only cover certain ones. be careful about purchasing one they don't cover, they will only pay you back the price of the ones they do cover

I went and got a paper prescription from my Dr at naval and then ordered through a provider and got it less than a week later

The top two in blue they cover 100% the bottom two blue ones they will only partially cover price

They also don't cover hospital grade unless your baby is a premie

Basically your doc is supposed to call insurance and provide an prescription for the pump... I'm surprised u have to wait that long
