@ngujen, my doctor just gave it to me a few days ago at my 30 week appointment, Getting the shot DOES give your baby some immunity until after they are born and receive theirs. It was even on a piece of paper she handed me. Also anyone like grandparents etc that will either be holding the baby or watching/spending time with for the first couple months is recommended to get the shot, My doctor said the past couple of years it has gotten pretty bad

You getting it now will protect the baby, however anyone who is going to be around baby should get it as well as a precaution

I got it at 35 weeks it goes to the placenta and protects the baby when it's born

My husband going to get it and I'm suggesting my mother and he's parents get it since I know they will be here for a while @ngujen

@californiahaley, so me getting it right now wouldn't protect the baby until she gets her vaccine at 2 months? Would it protect her from it once she gets it, from people who don't have it?
