Exactly!!!!! Food prices in ms are terrible.... My family loves fruit so I usually spend around 250 a week in groceries because fruit is so high

We get most of our veggies from my mom since her garden produces enough for her household and mine (next summer I'm planting my own garden) and we get veggies from the farmers market and fruit stands...it's usually healthier (less pesticides and usually organic) plus it helps the community

I eat raw organic and I learned how to do it pretty cheap! Best advice I can give is to eat what's in season. I am more than happy to pay the cost of eating right! Now, as far as vitamins- this is where I really cringe. For my prenatal regime, it costs $70/month. Crazy, right? Especially since I'm borderline broke anyways... but to me, it is important to make having quality food and vitamins a top priority for myself and my daughter. Her vitamins cost $80/3 months, so that's a little better. :)
