How much would you spend on newborn photos? There is an awesome photographer who charges $225 for a photo session and u get 25 photos. I know this is pricey but is it worth it???

that's outrageous. I spend 25 and get like 10-15 pictures and they are very very good pictures.
you can get a pretty good camera with that price and take some creative ones yourself but if your not into that there are lower prices for newborn pictures
I've found that it's really hard (at least where I'm at) to get professional photographers to give you the cd with photo release for anything less than 200. That's on top of the session fee. $100 for my session then I'll decide on which photo package I want. They start at $50. Depending on how many good shots you get 25 doesn't seem like enough if you plan on sharing I would say a little pricey but not unreasonable

I'd say it depends on what else is being offered, the quality of the photographers work, ratings and how many prints you get. Ask if you get digital images also and a photographers release (which allows you to print the pics wherever you want).
I think that's pricey... I wouldn't spend more than $150 even then I would want a cd where I could print more if I wanted to..
I have had newborn pics done twice. I have found that you only need a few photos. I sent one out with the baby announcement and the rest are just put away in baby books/framed. I got 10 edited photos last time and it was more than enough. I think that seems pricey but I was given mine as a gift last time. My little sis just had some done for $50 and they are beautiful! I know that's a steal of a deal though.
