my newborn daughter got bath soap on her mouth and then swallowed water as i was trying to rinse off her head omg I hope she will be ok she seems alright but every now and then while sleeping she whimpers and grunts

We worry about everything as moms! I feel ya! But she will be fine. If she got enough, it might cause a little bit of an upset tummy, but not likely. Unexpectedly swallowing the water might have been more overwhelming than the soap! They make those products knowing some will get into eyes, mouths, etc

Omg I did almost the same thing. I was giving my 1 month old a bath tonight and got water in his mouth and I was freaking out. Thankful my hubby told me to relax. I'm still kinda worried tho :/ man the joys of being a mommy lol

my baby does that whimpering and crying thing while sleeping too,.it's really odd.

@mamalamadingdong, thank you very much,@beautifulangel I almost cried when she screamed she usually likes her baths poor baby i probably changed that now,@hippiebaby89 she does it all the time but tonight after the bath it seems worse
