Ok i say go for it. Cus when i see the name Aaliyah, Aleeyah, aliya or any other way people spell it, i think of the singer. So if you like her and purposely named her after the singer its perfect. Kinda like if i see someone named Selena, i think of Selena Quintanilla (not Selena Gomez)
