So my son breastfeeds only. But lately he eats then throws up. But it's not the liquid milk he drinks it's more like chunky.. Should I switch him to formula ? Any advice ? TIA

& don't stress love it'll cut down your milk supply. & its hard as hell to get it back 😔
Thank you 😊 it really does relieve some stress when I'm told it's normal. @athenas_mommy
Your milk is fine doll it's his tummy that's having issues . Try burping him halfway through feedings & if that doesn't work talk with his pediatrician
Thank you so much ! I'm a lot less worried now ☺️ @emmawoodhouse @kainesmadre
You don't need to switch. When the milk hits the stomach acid, it curdles. Chunky spit up is normal.
you just have to burp him half way through a feeding
why?
I do put him. After every feeding.. But I feel like my milk my not be good for him anymore.. @kainesmadre
does he burp? you might need to burp him more often & you don't have to offer both breastfeeding he may be getting to much milk my son had the same problem with the chunky milk spit up the doctor said as he gets old it stops & it did he's 6 months old now he doesn't spit up like that anymore.
Is it okay that as soon as he un latches he spits up ? @baby2_2016 @athenas_mommy @kainesmadre
it might be as simple as the heat making the milk curdle in his belly.
it's a digestive problem
Talk with the baby's dr first cause it could be reflux
