is the T dap vaccine really safe in pregnancy I read online that it's Not safe at all

everyone that is going to be around your baby all the time needs to get it, it prevents pertussis aka whooping cough

My dr told me I could get it when I wanted if I wanted (he gets 2 free shots per patient) but that it was a good idea because it gives baby antibodies against whooping cough and hubby should get it too. I'm getting mine and hubby's at our next appointment next week
