If you've been induce before I would like to hear short positive post...if comfortable sharing, I'm so nervous!
I was induced a week before my sons due date. It went so smooth, I got to the hospital at 5:30 that morning, they started my pitocin at 6 and I had my son at 7:58 that night. I got my epidural at 4 centimeters dilated and only an hour of pushing my son was out. I didn't sleep at all though because my fiancés whole family was there and so was mine, plus I was too excited to sleep. Overall everything went great!
Omg❤️ blessed story! I'm glad things went smooth, blessings for you and your baby.. Thanks for being so kind and sharing👣
My friend was induced last Friday and was only in labor for 7 hours! And she pushed for an hour... This was her first baby and she got off very lucky. She said that the contractions progressed very quickly and the epidural was a life saver.... I go to the dr. tomorrow for my 39 week check up and talking to her about being induced... I'm kinda scared too but I think it's just because I know exactly what's going on but then again I like the fact that I would know when labor is going to come... I'm more scared and nervous not knowing
I went 8 days over my due date and I decided to be induced. I went in at 7pm and 8pm I had the insert put in to thin my cervix. At 5am they started the patocin by 6 I was in full blown labor. At 9am I had the epidural and napped through most of the contractions. At 12pm I started pushing and at 12:22, I gave to a 9lb baby! I had 6 hours of hard labor but with the epidural it was a piece of cake. I do however wish I would have waited until labor came on naturally but only because it would have been a more natural experience. Advice: If you need the epidural, get it! It will help you relax and rest before pushing starts. Being induced really isn't as bad as some make it out to be, you'll do great mama! Good luck!
